…from Ruining Your Life

Are you plagued by excessive sweating? Is it ruining your life? Well read on and you may be able to stop sweat from having such a negative impact on your daily routine.

Although everyone perspires, many people actually sweat to such an extent that it can cause great embarrassment. Sweating excessively can stop you from doing things that others take for granted.

If you suffer from excessive sweating, you may find it very embarrassing to socialize with others and your self confidence may suffer as a result. People who suffer with extreme sweating may be constantly on edge worrying about this problem. So what can be done to lessen the severity of the situation?

Sweating is the body’s natural way of cooling down. When we get hot, the body releases sweat in order to make the body moist. This moisture then meets cool air and this then cools down the body. So if you want to stop sweat from causing you a lot of embarrassment then you should try to stay as cool as possible. Wearing loose fitting clothing can help sometimes. And it is also a good idea to wear light colored clothes as sweat stains are less noticeable in these.

One way to try to sweat less is to become more relaxed and focused. Stress can cause you to sweat more and being on edge about your problem can trigger excessive sweating. So how can you become more relaxed? Well there are certain techniques available which will help you to learn to relax more such as meditation, yoga or pilates. The deep breathing involved in these techniques helps you to control both your mind and body which can help you to relax.

It is important to take extra care when you participate in your daily hygiene routine. This means taking a warm bath or shower daily and ensuring that your body is completely dried when you get out. Once you are completely dry, you should apply a good antiperspirant deodorant. If you find that during the day, you start to sweat again, you could carry wipes with you as well as your deodorant.

Although it may seem like a hassle to have to try to tackle this problem, it is much better to take the time and effort to try to minimize your situation. That way you need not be as self conscious and embarrassed and you can stop sweat from ruining your life.

Dealing with Nervous Sweating

Wednesday, April 1st, 2009

Many people out there wonder if there’s some form of magical cure for sweating when nervous.  The answer, sadly, is that there’s not a cure-all that will make all of our nervous sweating vanish.  However, there are several things you can do to combat the sweating.

The first is a mind over matter approach.  If you hyper focus on how you just know you’re going to sweat right through your shirt, chances are you will.  Work on focusing on something else, not on how much you’re sweating.  Also try to figure out the cause of your nervous sweating.  Why are you nervous?  If you can identify this, you may be able to calm yourself and sweat less.

Obviously, avoid tight clothing.  If possible, wear short sleeved shirts that are a bit loose.  This will help ventilate your body, keeping you cool.  Using antiperspirants should go without saying, but pay attention to which antiperspirant you use.  Some are designed for those with excessive sweating.

If you find that you continue to sweat excessively or that you start sweating excessively when you’re not nervous, you may have what is called hyperhidrosis.  In this case, you may need to seek treatment.  One option is botox injections under your arms, although these injections will have to be repeated regularly to control the sweating.  Another new treatment involves lasers to actually remove the sweat glands, although this treatment doesn’t work for those who experience excessive sweating on their faces or hands.

What Should You Know About Night Sweating?

Monday, September 15th, 2008

A great article relating to night sweating, night sweats in men and general excessive sweating issues during the night..

What Should You Know About Night Sweating?

Have you ever woken up in the middle of the night drenched and wondering where on earth the leak in your roof came from? Only, you would find that you were drenched not in rain but in your own sweat, and nothing you did to help control this problem of night sweating would have any effect.

This is not an unnatural occurrence. Many people – adults and children alike – go through this problem. In most cases it is nothing more than an overactive system, but it is always better to be safe than sorry. Night sweating, especially excessive night sweating could be a symptom for a medical condition of which you are unaware.

Of course, some people just experience bouts of night sweating if they have ingested hot or spicy foods before coming to bed. And since prevention is always better than cure, the best thing that can be done in these circumstances is to avoid such foods that you know will trigger an attack of night sweating.

Some people on the other hand, experience night sweating as part of their normal biological functions. It is also not uncommon for these people to have only intermittent bouts of night sweating. It is not necessary for these people to suffer from regular bouts of nightly sweating. It can even be triggered by a number of factors other than that of food.

For the most part these include such things as excessive stress, anxiety, and to a very great extent, the prevailing weather conditions. Some people will have bouts of night sweating even in the thickest of winter, but then again, that isn’t so strange as most people will have not only the heating turned on, but also thick blankets covering them to ward off the chill!

As you can see, especially in a person prone to night sweating, these factors can all lead to that person sweating excessively in the night. This does not however, mean that night sweating is experienced by a vast majority of people. Indeed, relatively speaking, the number of people who suffer from night sweating is low, but on the flip side of the coin this number is by no means very low..

If you suffer from night sweating and have tried everything you can think of to stop or even control this problem, you might want to consult with your physician to see what your options are. No one wants to contend with sweaty sheets and nightclothes, day after day, or rather night after night!

You can also try using antiperspirants in the night time to help you control any night sweating problems. Or you could try changing your overall diet as well. It might not be just one food which is the problem, but your entire diet. On the other hand, you can also try relaxation methods just before you go to bed to help you relax. These can all have a beneficial effect on you and might be able to help you prevent night sweating.

Mike Ramsey’s “Stop Sweating and Start Living” Reviewed – Is it Worth Buying?

Saturday, September 6th, 2008

As summers get warmer due to global warming, many more individuals are suffering from excessive sweating issues and the problems can be severe. Sweating excessively could be considered one of life’s most self esteem lowering problems around. Sweating excessive amounts can cause wide ranging problems, from wet clothes to body odor. A man called Mike Ramsey has written a book called “Stop Sweating and Start Living” and in this article we will be offering a down-to-earth and honest review.

Nevertheless, initially it is vital to comprehend that sweating is really a very natural process and people sweat due to the fact their body needs to lower its core temperature. More often than not, individuals that think they are sweating excessive are just perspiring at a normal rate and it’s other factors like clothes getting damp or increased body odor caused by this sweating that upsets them.

Stop Sweating and Start Living” explains the various natural methods that can be used to deal with sweating excessively, whether it’s from the head, face, back or body. As per the author, literally thousands of individuals have put a stop to their sweating woes by utilizing the strategies, advice and tips used throughout the book.

But do his methods really work or is it all baloney?

Well, the answer is a very emphatic yes! When we first looked at the book, it seemed like it was really too good to be true and that it would just turn in to another run-of-the-mill book telling us…well, not very much! But no..

It’s basically a three-pronged attack that people should apply each and everyday. I tried it myself and sure enough, within the very first week, I had already experienced a somewhat reduced rate of sweating all over. Nonetheless, it requires much persistence before seeing any major improvement but as I continued through month two, I was becoming pleasantly surprised that I was sweating much less than I was before utilizing the methods in the book.

Eradicating the problem of excessive sweating is simple as long as you know what really works and what is just a waste of time. If I were to tell you that it’s entirely possible to stop sweating in only four weeks without spending a penny on any medical procedures or treatments, would you be inclined to believe me? Well, you should because I am absolute proof the method works and it is very possible to stop sweating excessive in less than six weeks.
