A new antiperspirant featuring aluminum chloride may greatly reduce excessive sweating, according to a new study. While the study only featured ten patients, all noted that the amount of sweat they experienced decreased by a minimum of 75% after using the new antiperspirant. The product contains 15% aluminum chloride hexahydrate in two percent salicylic acid gel. Subjects noted that the product worked on the armpits, feet, and hands. This new antiperspirant is a great option for those who still experience excessive sweating after botox treatments. This study follows a previous study done in Canada, which also showed the benefits of antiperspirants containing aluminum chloride.
