The cosmetic surgeons of the Laser Sweat Ablation service in Britain are now offering a laser operation to stop hyperhidrosis, or excessive sweating. All it takes is about an hour and £3,500. The laser treatment, developed by surgeon Mark Whiteley, actually permanently removes the sweat glands under the arms. This surgery is more effective than having Botox injections, which only stops excessive sweating temporarily. This treatment, though, will only help those who suffer from excessive sweating under their arms. This is because the skin is actually looser there than it is in other areas where many suffer from sweating, including the hands, feet, and the face.
