Some people opt for surgery when it comes to their excessive sweating problems. if you are that way inclined then read on…

How To Stop Sweating With Surgery

Hyperhidrosis is one of the most embarrassing conditions to have. It affects people both physically and mentally. Luckily the advances of medicine has helped thousands of people with a surgery capable of ending this condition for good.

Excessive sweating, a condition medically known as hyperhidrosis is an embarrassing thing. Patients who suffer from this condition have sweat dripping out of their faces, hands, armpits or feet – literally. Although some type of sweating can be attributed to psychological factors such as anxiety or stress-levels there is other type of hyperhidrosis which its exact causes are unknown. This generates frustration and embarrassment in people, but there is a choice thanks to the advance of medicine, the ETS.

ETS stands for Endoscopic Thoracic Sympathectomy, and this is a surgery that consists on manipulating the sympathetic chain that triggers sweating. You see, when you have hyperhidrosis of any kind, your glands are overactive, making you sweat way more than you need.

During this surgery, you are put under general anesthesia and the doctor inserts into you body small instruments through a tiny incision, and then manipulates your sympathectomy chain from the outside. This is the reason why patients can walk out of the hospital just hours after the surgery has been performed, but still your body has to learn to adapt to the new changes and this adaptive process may take a week.

The ETS is as we speak, the most effective way to treat hyperhidrosis. Success rates are between 85% to 95% and the patients end up relived and happy. Mostly because hyperhidrosis is a condition that carries a social stigma with it, and parts you from society. There could be some minor effects because of the surgery (some patients say they start sweating on other places like in the back), but people consider them minor compared to the trauma of having wet hands, feet or armpits all the time.

If you have hyperhidrosis, you too can benefit yourself from this surgery. Be sure to consult with your doctor, and he’ll fill you on all the details for the ETS, even its risk and side effects.

Stop Excessive Underarm Perspiration and Resolve Your Underarm …

If excessive underarm sweating is a problem you suffer from, then this article will be of interest to you. Read on…

Stop Excessive Underarm Perspiration – Resolve Your Underarm Sweating Problem

Want to know how to effectively stop excessive underarm perspiration? While underarm perspiration is natural and can increase in high temperatures and strenuous physical activities, excessive underarm sweating even in cool weather and normal conditions may cause seriously humiliating problems.

Are you fed up with products that promise to stop excessive underarm perspiration, but don’t deliver? You may not be aware that it doesn’t take intense physical activity or hot weather for underarms to sweat a lot. Even if you’re in a perfectly cool environment, some people still sweat bucket loads because of extreme anxiety or tension. So how do you stop excessive underarm perspiration?Medically known as axillary hyperhidrosis, excessive underarm perspiration is more of a social embarrassment than a serious medical condition. Large, prominent sweat stains and constant sweating are normal signs.

Should you be suffering from this condition, rest assured that this is curable. You can wear your white shirt again sooner than you think; it doesn’t need to stay in your closet forever.

Common methods to stop excessive underarm perspiration (also known as hyperhidrosis treatments) are prescribed anti-perspirants, botox, and surgery (endoscopic thoracic sympathectomy).

1)Prescription anti-perspirants. When the best over-the-counter deodorant or anti-perspirant fails, consult your dermatologist. Dermatologists are likely to prescribe anti-perspirants based on aluminum chloride. This may be one of the best, safest cures for excessive underarm sweating.

2)Botox. Should prescription anti-perspirants prove to be ineffective, a more drastic – and expensive – measure like botox treatment may be called for. Botox is injected in the infected area to prevent the release of a chemical that stimulates sweat production. Injections are done after every 6-10 months.

Though botox is approved by the Food and Drug Administration specifically to stop excessive underarm sweating, be cautious with this method as some patients complain of moderate or severe pain when being administered shots. Also, find a qualified practitioner to ensure your safety in this procedure.

3)Surgery. Clinically known as endoscopic thoracic sympathectomy (ETS), this treatment involves inserting titanium clips in the underarm to control sweating. The entire procedure is quick and painless but can have some side effects. A common side effect is compensatory sweating, where the body sweats more in other areas to compensate for the reduced sweating in the armpits.

In addition to the above treatments, you can do the following to control and stop underarm sweating:

1)Wear loose, natural fabrics. Loose clothing will let your underarms breathe more easily. Tight-fitting clothes trap sweat and can even make sweat stains obvious.

Natural fabrics, like cotton and silk, allow sweat to dry faster than synthetic man-made fabrics like spandex and nylon.

2)Eat and drink properly. Avoid foods that can only worsen your perspiration problem like those with caffeine and alcohol. Cut down or avoid spicy foods as well as they tend to make the body sweat more.

Drinking lots of water is important to re-hydrate the body especially after excessive underarm sweating.

3)Meditate. As stress and anxiety contribute to excessive underarm sweating, a sound mind can keep it in check. Meditation also maintains the body’s hormonal balance.

As a meditation exercise to stop excessive underarm perspiration, imagine yourself at the base of a mountain. Feel a cool, dry breeze blowing through you. Allow the breeze to slowly and soothingly dry your skin.

Find the cure that suits your body most and complement it with the right diet, comfortable attire, and regular relaxation/meditation. By consistently following this routine, you can effectively stop excessive underarm perspiration and raise the roof with confidence!

Why do you think you sweat excessively? Read on for one person’s insight…

How To Reduce Sweating

I’m here to share with you the information on how to reduce sweating. All of us sweat and I don’t think it would be natural to stop sweating, the audience I’m talking to are the people that are suffering from excessive sweating or inappropriate sweating. I’m talking about sitting down for a nice calm dinner or watching television and finding yourself sweating when there is no appropriate reason. The reason you’re sweating is because you have overactive sweat glands and doctors aren’t sure why. I’m going to investigate the methods for you to deal with this and get past it for good.

I’m what a lot of people would call a successful person. I went to university and got a good corporate job, but if there is one thing I’ve noticed, I’ve been passed over again and again by people that aren’t as qualified as me for a promotion. I know the exact reason why; my sweating. Think about it. If you’re looking at someone to promote and you see this guy that is sweating all the time, what would you think? Unconfident and can’t handle the pressure. Not good for management like positions. It was these events that led me to figure out how to reduce sweating.

From my research, I learned that I could be stimulating my body to go at a much faster pace with my diet. I would eat things that would cause my heart to beat faster and I would just get hot. Sweat will always happen in this situation, so I changed up my diet and this has significantly reduced my excessive sweating.

What Should You Know About Night Sweating?

Monday, September 15th, 2008

Are your night sweats getting you down? If so, and you want to do something about it, CLICK HERE NOW and finally find some relief!

—————————————————————————————————

A great article relating to night sweating, night sweats in men and general excessive sweating issues during the night..

What Should You Know About Night Sweating?

Have you ever woken up in the middle of the night drenched and wondering where on earth the leak in your roof came from? Only, you would find that you were drenched not in rain but in your own sweat, and nothing you did to help control this problem of night sweating would have any effect.

This is not an unnatural occurrence. Many people – adults and children alike – go through this problem. In most cases it is nothing more than an overactive system, but it is always better to be safe than sorry. Night sweating, especially excessive night sweating could be a symptom for a medical condition of which you are unaware.

Of course, some people just experience bouts of night sweating if they have ingested hot or spicy foods before coming to bed. And since prevention is always better than cure, the best thing that can be done in these circumstances is to avoid such foods that you know will trigger an attack of night sweating.

Some people on the other hand, experience night sweating as part of their normal biological functions. It is also not uncommon for these people to have only intermittent bouts of night sweating. It is not necessary for these people to suffer from regular bouts of nightly sweating. It can even be triggered by a number of factors other than that of food.

For the most part these include such things as excessive stress, anxiety, and to a very great extent, the prevailing weather conditions. Some people will have bouts of night sweating even in the thickest of winter, but then again, that isn’t so strange as most people will have not only the heating turned on, but also thick blankets covering them to ward off the chill!

As you can see, especially in a person prone to night sweating, these factors can all lead to that person sweating excessively in the night. This does not however, mean that night sweating is experienced by a vast majority of people. Indeed, relatively speaking, the number of people who suffer from night sweating is low, but on the flip side of the coin this number is by no means very low..

If you suffer from night sweating and have tried everything you can think of to stop or even control this problem, you might want to consult with your physician to see what your options are. No one wants to contend with sweaty sheets and nightclothes, day after day, or rather night after night!

You can also try using antiperspirants in the night time to help you control any night sweating problems. Or you could try changing your overall diet as well. It might not be just one food which is the problem, but your entire diet. On the other hand, you can also try relaxation methods just before you go to bed to help you relax. These can all have a beneficial effect on you and might be able to help you prevent night sweating.

Troubles With Excessive Sweating – How To Put A Stop To Your Sweat …

Another offering from the gust posting section and more info about excessive sweating and how to stop it..

Troubles With Excessive Sweating – How to Put a Stop to Your Sweat Troubles

I am not talking about normal sweating, like when you work out or when you are out on a hot summer day. Excessive sweating happens when we sweat all the time, for no reason at all. This type of problems with sweating is also known as hyperhidrosis. Having problems with sweaty armpits is something many struggle with.

This type of sweating is often troublesome for those who are suffering. The author of this article has himself struggled with this particular issue for years. As far as I can remember the problem started to grow when I was about 14 or 15 years old. Trying to deal with the sweaty armpits I was constantly trying to come up with excuses to stay out of parties and other social events.

When the time was right for getting a new job I had troubles finding a profession where I was able to hide my sweat stains from the world. I started to choose work arrangements where as few people as possible was able to smell what was going on under my arms.

During the time I was suffering from hyperhidrosis, before I discovered the cure, I never had a date. I didn’t even have any female friends. Up until that moment in life I was always scared of what a possible girlfriends reaction would be when she found out about my sweat problems.

I believe that a lot of people with sweating problems are relating to what I am saying here. Despite the fact that sweating and even excessive sweating is pretty normal, we are all to embarrassed to let other people know about it. I probably was a lot cleaner back when I was sweating than I am now. I used to shower like two or thee times every day.

One fact we should all just accept is that the deodorants available today is not working the way they are marketed. At least they did not work that way for me. I tried several anti-persperants and deodorants but none of them solved my problem. At the end I even tried all the different pharmacy deodorants and anti-perspirants with no results worth talking about.

At the end though I almost by accident finally found a solution that helped me get rid of my sweat problem. This moment is something I probably will remember for the rest of my living days. Today I feel that I can finally breathe. More and more often I even forget that I used to suffer from sweaty armpits and excessive sweating.

Easy Tips to Treat your Sweating Problem

Is your excessive sweating getting you down? If so, and you want to do something about it, CLICK HERE NOW and finally find some relief!

—————————————————————————————————

If you suffer from excessive sweating, check out these great tips in this article..

Easy Tips to Treat your Sweating Problem

Not too many people have a sweating problem, but those people who do have this type of problem can find their lives revolving around it. Normally although a sweating problem would be thought of as excessive sweating, the reverse of this can also be true in that some people might also suffer from a lack of sweating.

And although people who sweat excessively might wonder how such a sweating problem as a lack of sweating, could be a problem, it is nonetheless so. Both of these conditions are known health conditions, with the sweating problem of excessive sweating being known as hyperhidrosis, and the lack of sweating being known as anihidrosis.

If you suffer from either of these conditions your best recourse is to first consult with a physician as soon as possible to seek help for your condition. This is especially true if your sweating problem is only a very recent occurrence. Excessive sweating or lack of sweating, can both be a herald of an underlying medical condition, and all precautions should be taken to rule out any and all possibilities.

Of course a sweating problem doesn’t always have to be linked with an underlying medical condition. It could be due to any number of other reasons which are perfectly harmless such as being a genetic trait in your family. Not everyone sweats in the same manner or in the same way, and the trait of sweating excessively, moderately or not at all, can, and has been, passed down the family tree, many times.

You might also find that a sweating problem such as excessive sweating can occur with the onset of puberty when hormonal changes are taking place, or at a time – and it doesn’t have to be during puberty – when a person’s hormones are changing or settling down.

For instance in the case of acne, sometimes a person can coast through puberty without one blemish on their faces and when they hit adulthood, they would find themselves breaking out regularly. And although this is only an example of how certain changes in a person’s body can come about, it can hold true for a sweating problem as well.

In this case, along with, or even before, consulting with your physician to seek relief from your problem, you might want to try a few things such as changing your diet to iron out any problems. Sometimes a simple change in lifestyle or diet can help you to deal with your sweating problem. You might even find that you get other health benefits from such a simple change as well!

Anxiety Sweating is a Problem That Can Have a Vastly Negative Impact …

Is your excessive sweating getting you down? If so, and you want to do something about it, CLICK HERE NOW and finally find some relief!

—————————————————————————————————

Here is a great article about anxiety sweating and the problems it causes…

Anxiety Sweating is a Problem That Can Have a Vastly Negative Impact on You

Sweating of any kind can have a detrimental effect on a person’s moral, and this can be especially true of anxiety sweating. It is true that most any type of excessive sweating can be harmful emotionally to many a person, so what makes anxiety sweating any different?

After all, you still sweat, and in most cases excessively, and you still have to deal with the modern social stigma associated with this natural bodily function. Why then single out anxiety sweating as a problem that can have a vastly negative impact on you? Why not turn instead to night sweating, or excessive sweating due to a health issue, or indeed to any type of excessive sweating?

Because anxiety sweating, unlike the other types of sweating can lead to cyclic anxiety sweating. Or in other words, for the person who tends to sweat excessively when suffering from bouts of anxiety, they will find that their anxiety can become more pronounced as a reaction to their sweating, which in turn can increase their sweating.

This is not always the case, of course, and a person who suffers from anxiety attacks need not feel the burden that anxiety sweating might bring down upon them, but it does frequently happen in this way.

They will feel the social stigma a hard cross to bear indeed when having to deal with not only anxiety sweating, but also when having to deal with the implications and associations of having an anxiety attack as well.

Unfortunately there can however, also be associated with such treatments, a stigma all on its own. The world as we know it today is a baffling place and the very things that we need, to deal with and control a problem, or condition, we suffer from can be derided just as much as the problem itself.

For most people who suffer from anxiety sweating, there is little to no relief from their burdens to be found in the everyday treatments that we take for granted, and which are the accepted norms of society.

Regular antiperspirants won’t work most of the time, and some people will resort to more drastic methods such as surgery to help them curb or control their anxiety sweating. A person suffering from anxiety sweating might find that therapy is a good alternative treatment or even a part of the physical treatment aspect.

Therapy can, and has, helped many people deal with their anxiety issues, and sometimes just learning how to deal with these situations when you are suddenly overcome by an anxiety attack can help to reduce your anxiety sweating problems. And in the end that’s all that you want.

Do You Or Anyone You Know Suffer From Excessive Underarm Sweating …

Is your excessive sweating getting you down? If so, and you want to do something about it, CLICK HERE NOW and finally find some relief!

—————————————————————————————————

Here is a great article about underarm sweat stopping and underarm wetness. Enjoy…

Do You Or Anyone You Know Suffer From Excessive Underarm Sweating – Here Are Some Ideas To Help

Underarm perspiration, otherwise known by its medical term hyperhidrosis, is a result of an over-activity of sweat glands. The uncontrolled working of the nervous system may also cause profuse underarm sweating.

Besides the underarms, hyperhidrosis also takes place in different areas of the body such as the face, hands and feet. However, profuse underarm sweating is the most common and most prominent hyperhidrosis problem. The reasons and treatments of profuse sweaty underarms are discussed below.

The Different Causes of Underarm Sweating

Sudoriferous is the medical term for our sweat glands. There are 2 types of sudoriferous glands that produce excessive underarm perspiration: the eccrine and the apocrine glands.

The eccrine glands are found all over the body and exist by themselves. They produce a watery solution in unlimited amounts, but they are not commonly the culprits in excess underarm perspiration. The sweat created by eccrine glands is odorless, and they are the glands responsible for excreting the ingested materials contained in onions and garlic.

The apocrine glands, on the other hand, are larger than eccrine glands and they are only found in certain spots in our bodies. The apocrine glands are found only in the armpits and the genital skin. The apocrine glands secrete sweat through the hair follicle (this is why underarm sweat drips).

There are many ways to cure or minimize sweat from the armpits. The perspiration produced by the apocrine glands has its distinct smell. There are different ways to avoid excessive underarm perspiration, such as by wearing loose-fitting clothing, drinking lots of water and taking medication.

People who often interact with big crowds and give speeches to large audiences tend to experience excessive underarm sweating.

Excessive underarm perspiration happens to both males and females. This disorder is not confined to any particular age group but it has been observed that most people who have this problem experience it after going through adolescence. Anyone experiencing this problem can be treated.

That being said, more safeguards are required when dealing with elderly patients who experience this particular disorder. Studies show that people who are suffering from anxiety, tension, and fear of facing the public or those who happen to have inferiority complex are predominantly prone to profuse armpit sweating.

Everybody experiences sweating in their underarms, and there are a variety of reasons for this excess underarm perspiration – heredity being one.

Excess Armpit Sweating along with odor

At times underarm sweating is accompanied by unpleasant body odor. There are instances that it does not go away with any amount of deodorant, antiperspirant or perfume applied – the smell tends to overpower the scents of these toiletry items.

Excessive underarm perspiration affects the person’s school, work, friendships, romance, sporting activities and sometimes even normal social interaction. This disorder discourages the sufferer and this could lead to a loss of self-confidence.

There are many treatments for underarm sweat stopping and the available treatment for excessive armpit sweating also takes care of the unpleasant underarm odor that is caused by profuse sweating.

Excessive underarm perspiration can be treated with the aid of medications and/or surgery, but the psychological effects that hyperhidrosis may have caused the patient may take a longer time to heal

Mike Ramsey’s “Stop Sweating and Start Living” Reviewed – Is it Worth Buying?

Saturday, September 6th, 2008

As summers get warmer due to global warming, many more individuals are suffering from excessive sweating issues and the problems can be severe. Sweating excessively could be considered one of life’s most self esteem lowering problems around. Sweating excessive amounts can cause wide ranging problems, from wet clothes to body odor. A man called Mike Ramsey has written a book called “Stop Sweating and Start Living” and in this article we will be offering a down-to-earth and honest review.

Nevertheless, initially it is vital to comprehend that sweating is really a very natural process and people sweat due to the fact their body needs to lower its core temperature. More often than not, individuals that think they are sweating excessive are just perspiring at a normal rate and it’s other factors like clothes getting damp or increased body odor caused by this sweating that upsets them.

Stop Sweating and Start Living” explains the various natural methods that can be used to deal with sweating excessively, whether it’s from the head, face, back or body. As per the author, literally thousands of individuals have put a stop to their sweating woes by utilizing the strategies, advice and tips used throughout the book.

But do his methods really work or is it all baloney?

Well, the answer is a very emphatic yes! When we first looked at the book, it seemed like it was really too good to be true and that it would just turn in to another run-of-the-mill book telling us…well, not very much! But no..

It’s basically a three-pronged attack that people should apply each and everyday. I tried it myself and sure enough, within the very first week, I had already experienced a somewhat reduced rate of sweating all over. Nonetheless, it requires much persistence before seeing any major improvement but as I continued through month two, I was becoming pleasantly surprised that I was sweating much less than I was before utilizing the methods in the book.

Eradicating the problem of excessive sweating is simple as long as you know what really works and what is just a waste of time. If I were to tell you that it’s entirely possible to stop sweating in only four weeks without spending a penny on any medical procedures or treatments, would you be inclined to believe me? Well, you should because I am absolute proof the method works and it is very possible to stop sweating excessive in less than six weeks.
